GrindSafe provides informational mechanical guidance about food scraps and kitchen waste in relation to household garbage disposals. The App does not provide professional plumbing, electrical, or repair advice.
2. No guarantee
GrindSafe does not guarantee that any food item or material is safe for your specific disposal, plumbing configuration, installation, or maintenance condition. Results can vary by model, wear, water flow, and other factors outside the App’s control.
3. Your responsibility
- Follow your disposal manufacturer’s instructions.
- Do not place unsafe, hard, fibrous, greasy, or non-food objects into a disposal.
- Stop using a disposal if you notice unusual sounds, jams, leaks, clogs, or electrical issues, and seek qualified help when needed.
- Use common sense and, when unsure, dispose of material in the trash.
4. Availability and accuracy
The App may be unavailable, delayed, or incomplete at times. Image analysis and related automated systems can make mistakes. You remain responsible for how you use any guidance shown in the App.
